Our customers

The Csepel Group provides Alpiq with a key business pillar in Hungary. The group consists of three companies: Csepeli Áramtermelő, Csepel Energia und Csepeli Erõmű. At the core of their activities is Csepel II, a modern, environmentally friendly gas-fired combined cycle power plant in south Budapest.

Alpiq’s primary activities in Hungary are:

• Power generation
• District heat production
• Natural gas universal supply, trading, and distribution
• Operation of the sewer network and utility service

Our activities are performed with a strong focus on individual customer requirements. We understand the rapidly changing nature of customer demand and business conditions and promptly respond by creating innovative solutions. Our company is constantly improving the reliability and efficiency of its offering and passing on these improvements to customers.
