Natural gas supply

Alpiq Csepeli Erőmű, one of the subsidiaries of Hungary of Alpiq, applied for an operator's licence to supply and distribute natural gas as a public utility. The regulating body is the Hungarian Energy Office, The distribution network is a natural gas line network built in the 1960s as an internal industrial gas network of the Csepel Industrial Estate.

In accordance with the legislative regulation, our company presently possesses a natural gas distribution operation licence, a natural gas trading licence and a universal supplier operation licence.

Our area of activity is the Csepel Industrial Estate. Through the natural gas distribution lines that we manage and operate, we presently supply to 173 natural gas customers. Our company operates the natural gas distribution network owned by Alpiq Csepel Kft.
The refurbishment of the re-categorised natural gas distribution network, operating at the 6 bar pressure level, has mostly been completed. At present the distribution network is able to meet natural gas demand at the Industrial Estate.

Our activities include all actions associated with natural gas distribution, natural gas trading and natural gas supply. Some of those activities are performed using own resources, while other activities are carried out by suppliers qualified in accordance with the requirement of the authorities.

Our tasks, specified by law, are being performed or we have them performed by third parties based on instructions developed in the frame of our quality assurance system.
Users may contact us via mail, electronic channel or personally at the customer client office where there is round-the-clock shift duty.
