Industrial Water Supply

Alpiq Csepeli Erőmű engages in industrial water production and supply activities. For example, the company provides industrial water to Alpiq Csepel Kft. and the customers on the Csepel Industrial Estate for both technology and firefighting purposes. The industrial water produced is treated and suitable for industrial purposes; however, the weater is not biologically treated and therefore may not be consumed directly by humans.
The water cleaning technology is environmentally friendly, and the industrial water released during the process does not contain any materials that could contaminate the environment.

Industrial water reaches the customers either indirectly through the network operated by Fővárosi Vízművek Zrt., or directly on a targeted line.
With the industrial water forwarded to the network of Csepel Industrial Estate, fire hydrants installed on the network are supplied. The company Fővárosi Vízművek Zrt. assures that water is available to fight fires.

Industrial water is cheaper than drinking water and mainly used for technology processes for cooling purposes. Waste water released by those technology processes may be warm but it is never polluted.
