Sewage Service

Alpiq Csepeli Erőmű operates the sewer service of the Csepel Industrial Estate. Industrial and sanitary water generated by approximately 250 customers is discharged directly to a natural recipient water storage area in a proportion above 90%. The rest is discharged into the network of Fővárosi Csatornázási Művek Zrt.

The right to discharge water directly into natural water sources means complying with strict requirements. We take these very seriously and use a consistent and complex approach. This approach involves steps such as the analysis of the process technology of the discharging party, and compliance with requirements on the use of storage structures. Additionally, there are regulations and monitoring requirements waste water received. Compliance with legislative stipulations is supported by our adoption of a quality assurance system and environmental management system.

Differentiated price settings have been implemented to customers for our waste water drainage service. For process technology generated waste water that requires less treatment, there is a more attractive rate for drainage and disposal.
